Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebrations

Alvingham Celebrations

All the residents of Alvingham, North Cockerington and Alvingham Social Club Members are invited to a free community event to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday.

Alvingham Village Hall

Sunday 12th June from 1pm onwards.

It is funded by Alvingham Village Hall and Alvingham Social Club and supported by the W.I. and other village organisations.
Residents of ALL ages are most welcome to join the rest of the community to celebrate this most special birthday

  • BBQ from 1pm onwards (eat outdoors if fine, or indoors if wet)
  • Indoor and outdoor games for all ages
  • Fancy Dress, ( Theme Red, White and Blue )
  • Best Homemade CROWN competition
  • Royal “Bake Off” Adults and Children’s competition - Bake a cake “fit for the Queen” and bring it along.
  • Prizes and medals for the winners
  • Pay Bar (village function prices) open from 1pm

Bring your flags for an old fashioned Singalong
